Mr. Sachin Dev Sharma is Director at Samsung and is currently heading Intelligence R&D division at Samsung Delhi R&D Center. He is a Post graduate from BITS Pilani with 22 years of industry experience in S/W based systems development for Consumer Electronics devices. He heads a large R&D team that works on delivering solutions in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Platforms and IoT technologies in the field of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Data Analytics and IoT Services. Mr. Sachin has been chief architect of Samsung Tizen OS Platform. He is an eminent keynote speaker at several international conferences. Mr. Sachin has a long association with top tier academic institutes of the country and had been visiting faculty at IIT-Delhi, Kanpur and Hyderabad in the past. He has taken several initiatives to bridge the gap in industry & academia by establishing joint research projects and developing a research eco-system in academia that is driven by research needs of industry. His research interests include Large Scale Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Graphs and On-device Computing.

He has 18 years of experience is software industry. He has extensive experience in Telecommunications, Television broadcasting and multimedia streaming. He has developed intelligent adaptive streaming solutions. His research interests include multimedia streaming, Natural Language Processing and Reinforcement Learning. .
